Every Imaginext Jurassic World dinosaur toy is made to be handled hard: thick legs that stand on carpet, jaws that chomp on a button press, and tails that thrash without snapping off. The rangers — Owen Grady, Dr. Alan Grant, Kayla Watts and the rest — are the same 3-inch Imaginext action figures as the rest of our line, so they ride in trucks, choppers and haulers built for the hunt.

Fisher-Price designs each Imaginext dinosaur for kids 3 to 8, and the collections grow every movie: Camp Cretaceous, Dominion and now Rebirth. Older Imaginext toys and new ones mix in the same adventure, so a baby Dracorex from one set can hide from the T. rex of another.

Start with a launcher set or a small dino-and-figure pack, then add one big beast: the Ultimate Action Chomp T. rex, Ultra Snap Spinosaurus or Thrash Attack Dilophosaurus bring lights, sounds and motion. Every Imaginext Jurassic World dinosaur is an action figure first: posable arms and legs, a jaw that opens, and on most a button that makes it chomp, lunge, thrash or flap. Baby dinosaurs fit in a pocket, the Rebirth motion dinosaurs stand about 8 inches, and XL dinosaurs reach 10 inches for kids who want a toy they can wrestle.

Rangers, trucks and choppers

Owen Grady, Dr. Alan Grant, Kayla Watts, Dr. Wu and the park workers are 3-inch Imaginext figures that drive the Track & Transport truck, the Break Out Dino Hauler, the Dino Chopper and the Air Tracker plane. Each vehicle has a launcher, a claw or a cage, so the adventure always ends with a capture.

Light-and-sound dinosaurs and playsets
