Imaginext toys: the adventure system from Fisher-Price

One size for every hero

Every Imaginext action figure is built to the same 3-inch scale. Batman, Woody, Owen Grady and a pirate captain can sit in the same cockpit, so a toy collection grows instead of splitting into sets that never play together. Our figures bend at the hips and knees and hold accessories in both hands, which is what kids 3 to 8 need to act out a story rather than just look at it.

Playsets that open into worlds

Imaginext playsets are bases for the action: the Batcave, Gotham City Jail, the Gorilla Fortress, the Scan & Glow dino lab. Most have trapdoors, cages, lifts and launchers that react to a figure or a button, and the bigger sets add lights and sounds. Fisher-Price designs them to be played on the floor for hours, so the plastic is thick and the hinges are made to be slammed.

Launchers, robots and XL figures

Launchers are part of the Imaginext toy DNA — soft discs, projectiles and pads that fire vehicles across the room. Robot playsets like the Bat-Tech Batbot and the Darth Vader Bot stand two feet tall with a cockpit for a 3-inch figure. XL figures around ten inches tall give kids a big hero or dinosaur to wrestle with, while still matching the rest of the collection.

Our collections include DC Super Friends, Jurassic World, Disney and Pixar Toy Story and Lightyear, Star Wars and Power Rangers, alongside Imaginext-only worlds of pirates, sharks and gorillas. Every Imaginext toy is made by Fisher-Price for kids 3 to 8, and every box lists what is inside: how many action figures, which accessories, which launcher and how many projectiles. Most toy action figures sets need no batteries; light-and-sound toys and robots use button cells or AA batteries, which many include in the box.

If you are buying a first Imaginext toy, start with one vehicle or launcher set and one figure pack. If the toy box already holds Imaginext toys, a playset or robot ties the collection together, because every Fisher-Price Imaginext figure fits it.
